How does quantum computing work?

Traditional computer systems use the definite positions of a physical state to perform the logical operations means two positions with single binary state i.e. on or off, up or down, 1 or 0 - is called a bit, Whereas quantum computing works on probability i.e. instead of just 1s or 0s calculations are carried out on the probability of the object's state before it is truly measured. This allows quantum computers to process more data at a faster speed as compared to traditional computer systems.
