With the large amount of data generated everyday, it becomes impossible to store the enormous amount of data in physical servers. Cloud technology provides a means of storing data into virtual cloud servers (over the internet). Take Google Drive as an excellent example of cloud technology. User can store data on the drive and user it anywhere, anytime. Cloud has thus made on demand availability of data possible waiving off the dependency on huge physical servers.
