What is Smart Cities Mission in India?

The Smart City Mission of India is a program launched on 25th of June 2015 by Government of India with the vision of developing Smart Cities all across the nation. These smart cities will be developed with an aim to provide a smart, sustainable and high quality of life for the citizens of India. The mission is set to convert 100 cities into smart city across the geography within the timeframe of 5 years between 2019-2023.
