What is serverless computing?

by SMEBOOK (admin) · December 12, 2020

Serverless computing refers to a computing model available on as-used basis. In a serverless model, user is charged only for the resources consumed for computation and the storage space used. In serverless computing, the provider allows developers to rent server space on per use basis to deploy, store and access their code files without worrying about the backend infrastructure. Though its termed as serverless, it is not exactly server less as the service provider maintains the servers which can be rented out.
