Machine learning technology can deliver great capabilities to robots. Reason why many machine learning applications are widely used in robotics industry. A few examples of machine learning applications that are integrated with robotics are:

  1. Computer Vision: when integrated with robotics is referred to as Robot Vision. Robots can process bulk image data through computer vision which helps in robot guidance
  2. Imitation Learning: Robots can learn patterns of behavior and imitate a particular behaviour.
  3. Self- Supervised learning- This helps robots to use their own experience and self improve learning
