What is Quantum computing?

by SMEBOOK (admin) · October 7, 2020

Quantum computing is based on the principles of quantum theory where material and energy behavior is explained on the atomic and subatomic levels. In traditional computer systems information or data is stored or processed in the form of bits i.e. 1 or 0, whereas in Quantum computing, quantum bits or qubits are used that can exists or read more than one state like 1 & 0 at the same time. This allows the speed of the operations exponentially higher than conventional computer systems. Entanglement and Superposition are the essential features on which supercomputers are built.
