History of Quantum computing
by SMEBOOK (admin) · October 7, 2020
In 1981, Richard Faynman laid down the foundation of quantum computing when he presented his quandary at MIT. Next, Peter Shor, in 1994, brought the spark to quantum computing by developing the algorithm that allows the quantum systems to efficiently and exponentially factorize large integers. And in 1996, a quantum database search algorithm and in 1998, a 2-qubit quantum computer was developed by Lov Grover. Post which, in 2017 IBM took the lead and developed the first-ever commercial quantum computer.
