What is data productization?

Treating data as a product is a fundamental requirement in any data quality process. Treating data as a product forces the definition of data requirements, in a similar manner as we are accustomed to define requirements for other products. The degree that the data product meets these requirements defines the quality of the data product. Productization of data thereby yields a measurable definition of data quality.
