Semantic analysis is one of the pillars in NLP. Natural language processing is used for summarization of text, to do the analysis of sentiments, understanding the context of the text, to extract the text & sentiments relationship, automated question answering, stemming, translation, etc. that includes language-related tasks and involves the human language model. And semantic analysis extracts the idea, essence, and logic of the statements, which is essential in NLP.
