What is nanotechnology?

by SMEBOOK (admin) · March 15, 2020

Nanotechnology is the application and study of extremely small things like things that below 100 nm at length scales or as small as human hair i.e. about 80k nm wide. Nanotechnology is used in the field of such as biology, chemistry, physics, engineering and materials science. The concept of nanotechnology was introduced by Richard Feynman, on December 29, 1959, at the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) in an American Physical Society meeting. He described the nano process as manipulating and controlling the nanoparticles at atoms and molecules levels. And the term nanotechnology was coined by Professor Norio Taniguchi while he was exploring the ultraprecision machining.
