Nanomedicine has been a recent evolution in the science of medicinal technology. The field of Nanomedicine involves the application of Nanotechnology techniques to pharmaceutical science through the use of nanomaterials like biocompatible nanoparticles and nanodevices such as nanorobots with the aim to diagnose, monitor, prevent and control of diseases. The term Nanomedicine was coined by Eric Drexler.
