Nanomedicine's is a very recent invention in the field of healthcare, medicine and technology. Although, there have been indications of possible applications of nanoparticles and nano technology in relation to biomedicine, the term nanomedicine emerged in 1999, the year when American scientist Robert A. Freitas Jr. Nanomedicine can be hence stated a revolutionary science of the 21st century.
