Model compression is a technique that shrinks trained neural networks. Compressed models often perform similarly to the original while using a fraction of the computational resources. Some examples of these are web servers enable compression of static assets (java scripts, css, images). Text assets in java scripts and css can be compressed to reduce the size like a 1MB JavaScript can be compressed to size of 1KB.
