What is machine learning?

Machine learning is a sub division of Artificial Intelligence. Machine Learning is the capability of machines that is computer systems to analyse the available data to learn the patterns and derive meaningful information out of it. Machine learning is based on advanced algorithms that can access, process and analyse past or historic data and use it to learn and gain experience. Many progressive companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Netflix etc are widely using machine learning technology to improve their customer experience.
