How machine learning learns?

by SMEBOOK (admin) · April 24, 2020

Machine Learning process involves the following steps:

  • Training sets: A sample data set that is fed to the system. The parameters of the data set are defined and classified. The values of parameters can be represented as ‘x’ and ‘y’ respectively. Then ‘xy’ defines the set of parameters which is called the training set.
  • Validation: Second step involves the identifying and eliminating the errors and unmatched data through complex algorithms.
  • Testing: One algorithm might not fit to the entire data sets. The algorithm might fit well to the training sets but might give a significant amount of errors when applied to other data sets. It is necessary to test the algorithm across various data sets.
