The concept behind flexible electronics has been prevalent for several decades. In principle, anything long or slender can become flexible. Flexible electronics, also referred to as flex circuits, is a technology used for assembling electronic circuits by placing electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, examples include polyimide, transparent conductive polyester film or PEEK. Coupled with that, flex circuits can also be screen printed silver circuits on polyester.
