Where entrepreneurship come from?

The practice of Entrepreneurship began as people got engaged in barter transactions i.e exchange of goods and services, many thousands of years ago. The merchants who practiced this possesed creative business skills which helped them to gain profits and raise this living status. Thus, crafting a mindset for entrepreneurship. Later, in sixteenth century, French economist Jean Baptiste Say introduced the word ‘Entrepreneur’ from a French verb ‘Entreprendre’, meaning “to do something” or “to undertake”.
