Early stage start-ups are notable for their driven environments. Since these are in their developmental stage, a start-up provides better opportunity in terms of decision making and multitasking. There is a high chance that you will need to exercise your creativity. You will definitely have a better chance at promotion here rather than at a corporation.

The disadvantages of an early stage start-up is the risk involved. Most start-ups are not able to sustain themselves for more than a few months. Early stage start-ups do not have a very high pay which can act as a deterrent.
