What are the various applications of E-textiles?

E-textiles use the fabric as a base station to deploy the electrical elements that produce the wearable computing garments or devices. E-textiles can have unique applications for direct consumer functions as well as complex industries such as military or aerospace or healthcare because they are lightweight and flexible. Some of the applications include exercise garments to monitor vital signs of the body, physical therapy fabrics, music jackets with LEDs, smart homes to detect the movement of people & accordingly adjusting the room temperature or lighting system, sensing the tank movements, etc.
