E-textiles vs smart fabric

E-textiles and Smart fabrics are from the same family where a combination of conductive & non-conductive materials or components is used to make a functioning circuit integrated under the fabric. But yes there exists a little difference between them as e-textiles fabrics require an electrical trigger to start the function but the smart fabric is based on a response to get stimulated. But both offer similar functions.
