Though considered quite similar, computer vision and image processing are two different fields in technology. While Image processing techniques aim at working with images to enhance the quality of image and to convert image formats. Computer vision on the other hand, involves acquiring, analysing and processing the digital images and videos in the form of relevant information. For instance, one can use image processing methods to convert an image into grayscale and then use computer vision to detect and learn different aspects in the image.
