The increased human dependency on computers and other digital devices has led to increased cases of computer vision syndrome. Nowadays people are spending long hours working on computer systems which badly impacts their eyes and leads to computer vision syndrome i.e. excessive eye straining. Major symptoms of computer vision syndrome are headaches, blurred vision, dry eyes, dual vision, weak focussing, fatigue etc. Maintaining 18-24 inches distance from the computer screen, taking short breaks every hour, wearing eyeglasses, and maintaining proper lightening in the work space can help avoiding as well as treating computer vision syndrome.
