Computer vision in artificial intelligence

by SMEBOOK (admin) · March 13, 2020

Computer Vision is a sub division of Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is the simulation of Human Intelligence processes by computer. Artificial Intelligence programs may mimic or simulate cognitive behaviours associated with human intelligence. In other words, AI means using computer systems to perform tasks that require human intelligence. AI applications involve tasks like visual recognition, speech recognition, translation of languages etc. Tasks involving visual recognition bring computer vision into picture. Computer vision and image processing together process the visual content (images and videos) and thus supplement AI by automating the visual tasks humans can do.
