How chatbots work?

Chatbots interpret the words given to them by a person and provide a pre-set answer. There are three main approaches followed in order to get the desired functioning of a chatbot:

  1. Pattern matching approach: They provide the output based on keywords fed into the system.
  2. Algorithms: These chatbots are fed with machine learning and NLP algorithms that can guide the bot to the right response.
  3. AI learning: In this, the bots respond based on the Artificial Intelligence learning during the training period by the Bot engineers.
