Will 3D printing replace machining?

It is a battling debate whether 3D printing replaces traditional machining process or not, but both hold vital importance in manufacturing. Although 3D printing already brought enormous benefits and opened the doors of diverse applications, still there are some areas where traditional machining work is more significant. One of the reasons why machining is still being used is because of the material utilized in 3D printing, which is limited i.e. you can't use any material in 3D printing. Thus because of this, it becomes a little difficult to evade the traditional machining process, although the usefulness of 3D printing is an undeniable fact.
